Terms of Service

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated.
• Protect the confidentiality of account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use or another security breach.

You are responsible for activities and actions under your account and for maintaining credential confidentiality.

We may verify identity, request supporting documentation, refuse or cancel inappropriate registrations, and implement reasonable security measures.

Recommendations may be generated from information submitted through a structured assessment and may be reviewed or validated by a certified dermatologist where the purchased service includes such review. They may consider skin type, concerns, clinical evidence, professional expertise, and product availability in India. Recommendations are general guidance and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment.

• Consultations may be offered by verified, licensed dermatologists through audio, video, or chat.
• Availability is subject to Practitioner availability and professional discretion.
• Consultations are conducted in accordance with applicable Indian telemedicine requirements.
• Dermasutra facilitates consultations and does not control independent professional judgment.

Articles, videos, wellness guidance, product reviews, and comparisons are educational only and must not be treated as medical advice.

• Provide complete and truthful information and use the services ethically and lawfully.
• Do not misuse, spam, harass, impersonate, or submit obscene, defamatory, unlawful, or rights-infringing Content.
• Do not use the Platform in violation of local, state, national, or international law.

Provide accurate and complete medical history, symptoms, and conditions requested by a Practitioner and promptly report relevant changes. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect recommendations or consultations.

The Platform is not designed for medical emergencies. Contact emergency services or visit the nearest healthcare facility when urgent care is needed.

Applicable fees will be shown before a paid service is confirmed. Fees may vary by service, Practitioner, duration, or other disclosed factors and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Available methods may include cards, net banking, UPI, and other electronic systems. Third-party gateways process transactions subject to applicable payment laws and their terms.

Any refund or cancellation terms displayed at checkout or communicated for the relevant service form part of these Terms. Contact support before purchase if you need clarification.

If a consultation cannot be completed because of a verified technical failure on our side, we will offer rescheduling at no additional cost or process a full refund at your request.

We process personal and medical information in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable Indian law.

Consultation information is stored securely and confidentially. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to medical records maintained on the Platform.

Information shared with Practitioners is subject to professional confidentiality. We may use anonymized or aggregated data for research or analysis and will not disclose personally identifiable health information without explicit consent except where required by law.

Third-party links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily indicate endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy notices, or practices.

• Recommendations may link to skincare or pharmaceutical products provided by third parties.
• We aim to recommend products that comply with applicable Indian requirements, but suitability and results vary.
• We do not guarantee third-party availability, effectiveness, or safety. Review product labels and seek professional advice where appropriate.
• Purchases made through external links are governed by the relevant seller's terms.

If third-party advertisements are displayed in the future, the advertiser will be responsible for the content, and display will not itself constitute endorsement.

Dermasutra Technologies Private Limited owns or licenses the Platform's text, graphics, logos, software, and interface. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use under these Terms.

• Do not reproduce, distribute, display, transmit, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, mine, or commercially exploit the Platform without written consent.
• Do not remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices or use automated devices to access the Platform except as expressly permitted.

When you submit reviews, feedback, or other Content, you grant Dermasutra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute it for providing and promoting the services, subject to our Privacy Notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The Platform does not itself provide a diagnosis or treatment. General recommendations and educational content do not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

To the extent permitted by law, Dermasutra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss. Total liability relating to a specific paid service will not exceed the amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for outcomes, adverse product reactions, independent Practitioner advice, or technical issues beyond reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may suspend or disable access for a violation of these Terms or law, fraud, abuse, harmful conduct, non-payment, or misuse.

You may request account termination through an available Platform channel or by contacting support.

Access ends on termination. Data may be deleted subject to our Privacy Notice and legal retention duties. Provisions that by nature survive—including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limits—remain effective.

These Terms, the Privacy Notice, purchase-specific terms, and other legal notices published by Dermasutra form the agreement concerning the Platform and services.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary, and the remaining Terms remain effective. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

You may not assign these Terms without prior written consent. Dermasutra may assign them as permitted by law.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, conflict, civil disturbances, government action, fire, flood, infrastructure failure, or internet disruption.
